When is a robot, not a robot?

I live and breathe robotics automation every day for my business clients, so I thought this week would end with something for everyone to reflect on! A few weeks ago he brought me an Amazon Echo. It's a lot of fun, and if you like technology, you just have to get it. However, I would consider Amazon's echo as a " robot ". Maybe not literally, but let me explain why she (Alexa) can be a lot. Take a simple task in our lives ... going shopping. "We need milk" is not a difficult question / task, but we really have to keep some kind of shopping list at home. These systems employ robots to guide clients, accept the tone of the keys or voice-based responses and pass the instructions to the underlying application to complete a transaction. Similarly, optical character recognition (OCR) technology, also classified as software robots, has been used for some time to offer high automatic extraction efficiencies. In addition, since the advent of web-based solutions, the industry has always used Internet BOT (abbreviated form for robots) for the automatic publication of d...
